LAKE WRESTLING CLUB

BUILDING LEADERS,

One Wrestler at a Time.

Our approach is simple... Teach kids

  • How to wrestle
  • Be good people on the mat, in the classroom and in the community
  • Compete hard and have fun

Led by Nate Skonieczny - A 2x OHSAA State Champion, 2x Ironman Champion, 2X College All-American, #1 in the nation, and University of Iowa wrestler. LWC has one goal in mind-to help build leaders through the toughest scholastic sport in existence, wrestling!

LWC trains out of the Lake Catholic High School wrestling room, a top notch training facility. With coaches who have college wrestling experience and a passion to see kids progress, we individualize every single practice to ensure kids are getting better, prepared for competition, and peaking for the state tournament.

LWC offers 2 club practices: Beginner Elite and Elite.

Competition: The LWC competes primarily at high level youth and middle school events. In addition to competing at the best local events, last season the LWC traveled to 5 states looking to face the nations best.

We believe in order to be the best, you need to compete against the best!

Ages and Experience: The LWC offers training and coaching for wrestlers up through 8th grade, regardless of experience level. We run two tailored practice groups: our Beginner Elite and our LWC Elite. Both are led by top-tier coaches who understand how to develop wrestlers based on their individual stage and goals. The Beginner Elite group also competes in the BWA Sunday League, giving new wrestlers valuable mat time in a structured and supportive environment.
